Battle-Ready Inner Fenders

Frequently Asked Questions

What do inner fenders actually do?

Inner fenders help protect the engine bay and wheel well from rocks, mud and other debris while still allowing heat to escape.

Our Battle Ready and Max Flow designs are built from aluminum, so you get that protection without adding unnecessary weight or creating another place for rust to start.

What are the Battle Ready Inner Fenders made from?

Our Battle Ready Inner Fenders are laser-cut from 6063 aluminum and finished with a high UV-load black powder coat.

They also include stainless steel hardware, mesh ventilation panels and a removable backing plate that can be customized to match your Jeep.

What’s the difference between Battle Ready and Max Flow Inner Fenders?

Both are aluminum inner fenders designed to protect your Jeep while allowing heat to escape from the engine bay. The biggest differences are airflow and appearance.

Max Flow Inner Fenders have a larger mesh area to allow greater air circulation through the wheel well. They also use a smaller, less obtrusive Combat Off Road logo for a cleaner look.

Battle Ready Inner Fenders use our original design with a smaller vented area and a more prominent Combat Off Road logo.

Which one is right for you comes down to how much airflow you want and which look you prefer.

Will they fit a Gladiator Mojave with the Fox shocks?

Yes. Our JT Battle Ready Inner Fenders are designed to fit the Gladiator Mojave with the factory Fox shocks.

What are MORF Inner Fenders?

M.O.R.F. stands for Multi Off Road Fit.

Our JT MORF rear inner fenders use interchangeable panels so the same inner fender system can work with the factory rear sway bar or with Currie AntiRock and Teraflex Forged ST rear sway bars.

That means you can change your suspension setup later without cutting up or replacing your rear inner fenders.

Do MORF Inner Fenders come with both panels?

Yes.

Each MORF kit includes one panel for the factory rear sway bar and a second panel designed for Currie AntiRock or Teraflex Forged ST rear sway bars.

How hard are they to install?

We rate installation as moderate.

Installing inner fenders requires basic hand tools, some drilling, and a rivnut tool.

Take your time, follow the instructions for your specific Jeep, and make sure everything is positioned correctly before drilling or installing the rivnuts.

If you’re not comfortable drilling into your Jeep, installing rivnuts, or doing this type of work, we recommend having the inner fenders installed by a professional.

Will these fit the 2.0L Turbo, EcoDiesel or 392?

Yes, but some additional modification may be required for those engine configurations. Check the installation instructions for your specific Jeep before installation.

Are these compatible with Falcon 3.3 shocks or other aftermarket shocks?

They may be, but aftermarket shocks can interfere with the inner fenders depending on the shock design and how the reservoir or other components are positioned.

If you’re running Falcon 3.3 shocks or another aftermarket shock setup, modification to the inner fenders may be required for clearance.

Because there are so many different shock and suspension combinations, we can’t provide a universal modification template. Any trimming, cutting, drilling or other changes needed to make your specific setup work will need to be determined during installation.

If you’re not comfortable making those modifications yourself, we recommend having the inner fenders installed by a professional.
