Locate the long plastic panel covering the wiring at the top of the tailgate.

Using an upholstery tool or a flathead screwdriver, pop the clips out and pull the cover down to remove it.

Note: You can trim this cover and reinstall a portion later if desired, but it is not required for the install.

The table comes pre-assembled, but it is heavy and difficult to use as a template.

Use a 10mm wrench to remove the nuts on the top support arms.

Use a 5/32" Allen key to remove the bolts at the bottom hinge where the table meets the backing plate.

Separate the backing plate from the main table. Keep all hardware safe for reassembly.

• Pro Tip: Apply painter's tape to the general drilling areas on the tailgate to make marking easier and protect the paint.
• Important: Measurements are taken from the Inside Edge (Hinge side) and the Top Edge of the tailgate.
• Orientation: Hole 1 & 3 are Passenger (Hinge) side; Hole 2 & 4 are Driver (Latch) side.

Drilling Locations (Mark these 4 spots):

• Hole 1 (Top Passenger/Hinge Side):Down: 5-3/4" (from top edge)Across: 6-7/16" (from inside/hinge edge).
• Hole 2 (Top Driver/Latch Side):Down: 5-3/4" (from top edge)Across: 29-1/8" (from inside/hinge edge).
• Hole 3 (Bottom Passenger/Hinge Side):Down: 11-1/4" (from top edge)Across: 6-9/16" (from inside/hinge edge).
• Hole 4 (Bottom Driver/Latch Side):Down: 14-1/4" (from top edge)Across: 30-1/4" (from inside/hinge edge).

Safety First: Put on your safety glasses.

Drill a pilot hole at each mark.

Drill the final holes to 12mm.

Pro Tip: A step bit is recommended because the tailgate metal is thin. It allows you to test fit the jack nut as you go to ensure a snug fit without oversizing the hole.

Correction Tip: If a hole is slightly off, you can open it up slightly (slot it) and use the larger washers included in the kit to cover the hole.

Insert the 4 Jack Nuts into the drilled holes.

Method A (Tool): If you have a jack nut tool, insert it, pull the trigger to flare the nut behind the metal.

Method B (Manual): Use the supplied bolt and aluminum spacer. Insert the bolt through the spacer into the jack nut. Hold the spacer with a wrench/pliers to stop it from spinning, and tighten the bolt to collapse the jack nut.

Align the backing plate with the installed jack nuts.

Secure the plate using the provided bolts and washers. Tighten with a Phillips screwdriver.

Note: Ensure the plate is straight.

Hinge Bolts (Bottom): Reattach the table to the bottom of the backing plate using the 5/32" Allen bolts and nuts.

Support Arms (Top): Reattach the sliding support arms to the studs using the 10mm nuts.

Crucial Detail: Be sure to reinstall the nylon washers between the moving parts to ensure smooth operation.

Tightening: Do not over-tighten the hinge bolts. The table needs to move freely. The nuts are "nyloc" nuts, so they won't vibrate loose even if not cranked down tight.

Check that the latches lock and unlock smoothly.

Open and close the tailgate to ensure the table clears the subwoofer (if equipped) and does not hit the vehicle interior.

Installation is complete.
